Suggested fabrics:
Fabric A (main outer fabric): Natural fabrics. Medium/heavy weight. Canvas, linen, quilting cotton, twill, duck, denim, thin tweed, Tana lawn (with interlining).
Fabric B (lining fabric): Can be the same as Fabric A or D. Natural fabrics. Light/medium weight. Tana lawn, cotton, linen, bamboo, quilting cotton, twill, canvas, drill. The lining can be used alone, be quilted or have iron-on interfacing.
Fabric C (interlining fabric, optional): Natural fabrics. Hampton cotton, cambric cotton, muslin, calico, quilting cotton.
Fabric D (contrasting fabric): Tana lawn, linen, lightweight cotton. Interline if the fabric is very fine.
Fabric F (wadding or interfacing): Quilting wadding (wool, bamboo, cotton) or fusible interfacing.
Fabric requirements: The lengths are generous for some of the fabrics (quantities rounded up).
Fabric A: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 1 m (40″).
Fabric B: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 1 m (40″).
Fabric C: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: The same length as the fabric piece(s) you are interlining.
Fabric D: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 50 cm (20″).
Fabric F: 115 cm (44″) wide wadding: 50 cm (20").
Sizing: Circumference: 60 cm (approx. 24″) // Height: 30 cm (approx. 12″) // Handle length (tied): 66 cm (approx. 26″).
