Designed as an updated pea coat, it has a shawl collar, double-breasted button front, shoulder flaps, welt pockets, buttoned sleeve tabs, pleats at the back, and a hem band. Suggested fabrics:
Main: Woven fabrics (250-700 g/m2). Wool, jacquard, tweed, denim, gabardine, depending on the desired finish.
Lining: Lining fabric. The designer recommends 100% cupro, which is smooth and more breathable than a polyester lining.
Fabric requirements:
Main: 140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 34-44, 220 cm // Sizes 46-52, 260 cm.
Lining: 140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 34-44, 150 cm // Sizes 46-52, 190 cm.
Sizing: EU 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 22, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 200 cm of fusible interfacing; eleven 15-20 mm buttons.
