Buy the Ember Dress sewing pattern from Sew Liberated. The Ember Dress is a loose-fitting pull-on dress with a tied waist and V-neckline. The waist is tightened with ties on each side gathered through tie channels on the front and back. The V neckline is finished with a shaped facing. Choose between a 3/4 or long sleeve, in two different views, both with a gathered cap. The bodice and skirt feature princess seams on the front and back, with plenty of hem swing in the midi-length skirt for a dramatic twirl. The skirt has in-seam pockets set into the side seams.

Suggested fabrics: Light- to mid-weight wovens with moderate drape, such as rayon challis, cotton poplin, chambray, viscose, silk charmeuse, or linen, with no stretch. Cotton poplin is recommended for beginners for its ease of sewing. Suggested weight range: 3-6 oz. (102-200 gsm).
