Buy the Harriet Skirt sewing pattern from Sew Over It. Harriet is an easy to sew A-line wrap skirt featuring welt pockets in the forward side seams - the perfect mix of design detail and practicality. Harriet is secured with a button on the skirt front, and a hook and bar internally.

Suggested fabrics:Â Medium to heavy weight woven fabrics with some
structure, such as denim, chambray, corduroy, cotton canvas or twill, brocade, and wools. For the pockets and inner waistband, the designer recommends a finer fabric such as cotton lawn or viscose.
Fabric requirements:Â The fabric requirements include only 10 cm (1/8 yd) buffer to avoid fabric wastage.

1.15 m (44") wide fabric (sizes 6-16 only): 3.5 m (3 7/8 yd).
1.4 m (55") wide fabric: 2.3 m (2 1/2 yd).
Lining: 50 cm (3/4 yd).
