Style Arc Sydney Dress Extension Pack

Buy the Sydney Dress Extension Pack sewing pattern from Style Arc. This extension pack can be used on its own as a standalone pattern, or in conjunction with the bodice or skirt from the original Sydney Designer Dress. 

Sydney is a calf length dress with a cocoon shape. The pack includes three bodice options and three sleeve options. But note the new sleeve options only work with the new bodice options; they will not work with the original Sydney bodice. The new skirt has less volume than the original and optional pockets. 

Note: Style Arc patterns are suited to a more confident maker. The written instructions are not illustrated at each step.

Suggested fabrics: Washed linen, crepe, rayon, lightweight wool.

Fabric requirements: 

148 cm (58") wide fabric: Bodice and skirt, 2.5 - 2.9 m (2.64 - 3.3 yd) // Sleeve A, 0.5 m (0.55 yd) // Sleeve B, 0.4 m (0.44 yd) // Sleeve C, 0.45 m (0.5 yd).

112 cm (44") wide fabric: Bodice and skirt, 3 - 3.5 m (3.3 - 3.8 yd) // Sleeve A, 0.5 - 0.8 m (0.55 - 0.9 yd) // Sleeve B, 0.7 m (0.75 yd) // Sleeve C, 0.8 m (0.9 yd).

Sizing: 4 – 16 or 18 – 30 (approx. UK 4/6 – 16/18 or UK 18/20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished pattern measurements.

Notions: Fusing, 90 cm (36") wide, 0.45 m (0.5 yd) // Bodice 1: two 25 mm (40L) buttons // Sleeve B: elastic, 39 mm (1 3/4") wide // Sleeve C: elastic, 6 mm (1/4") wide.
