Buy the Eden Coat sewing pattern from Tilly and the Buttons. Make your own playful and practical raincoat or cosy duffle to shelter from the elements. Fully lined, Eden has raglan sleeves and thoughtful details like a high neck hood to keep out the wind, practical pockets and a hanging loop. Choose from hip or long lengths, snaps or toggle fastenings with an optional zip, two pocket styles and optional storm flaps. Suggested fabrics: Medium- to heavy-weight woven fabrics such as wool coating, cotton drill, waxed canvas, Gore-Tex, ripstop, PUL and cotton laminate. For the lining, try viscose, acetate, polyester or cotton lawn, or even low stretch jersey for a casual anorak lining.

Jacket Main: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 3 - 3.3 m (3 3/8 - 3 5/8 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 3.3 - 4.3 m (3 5/8 - 4 3/4 yd).

Jacket Lining: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.5 - 2 m (1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 2.1 - 2.7 m (2 3/8 - 3 yd).

Coat Main: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 3.2 - 3.4 m (3 1/2 - 3 3/4 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 3.6 - 4.6 m (4 - 5 1/8 yd).

Coat Lining: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.7 - 2.2 m (1 7/8 - 2 1/2 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 2.3 - 3 m (2 1/2 - 3 3/8 yd).
